So my final review on Aubrey Honeysuckle Rose conditioner is here! Yay!
This conditioner is Vegan, all natural, with no parabens or phthalates said to “detangle, smooth, and rehydrate.” I really like this product. I have used it to condition after wash, for co-washing, and as a deep conditioner. I have to say that I would recommend it for use after shampooing for my top choice, a deep conditioner second, and not at all for co-washing (the consistency is too thick). I use Avalon Organics Lavender Shampoo which is said to nourish each strand and smooth the hair and I must admit I love the combination.
The downside to the Aubrey product… the smell. I saw on one YouTube video someone said that it smelled like “perm” and I would have to agree. I know we as Natural women steer far from the creamy crack relaxers but I can assure you this product is Organic and Natural. Once I put the product in my hair, it must have mixed with my chemistry because I could not smell that strong scent any more. So I encourage you to have faith and try the product any way.
Well, I hope this helps everyone. I am still loving my results and I will post more about my flax seed gel recipe, tips and hairstyles soon. Thanks!
